Port El Kantaoui
One of the most chic, up-market resort areas of Tunisia and the first purpose built holiday resort. It features a swish international Andalucian-style yacht marina surrounded by luxurious hotels. The port is a narrow coastal strip on both sides side of a smallish purpose-built resort, centered on the marina. It has no authentic sites and local history but instead most of the traditional architectural style has been cleverly recreated in the modern style. The resort features excellent sandy beaches offering a wide range of water sports including sailing, windsurfing, jet skiing. Other activities include tennis and golf. The marina has souvenir stalls, waterfront cafes, and restaurants.
