You may not have heard about us before as since October 2006 we have focused on selling our hotel product directly to travel agents and tour operators. We have now decided that we will also sell our great products directly to you!
We launched our brand new website in February 2011 and we hope you like what you see. We are trying to be a little different and make it easier for you to find your perfect holiday or hotel. We spent days in a darkened room with packs of crayons trying to come up with a new website that you would like. We will continue to develop and change our website based on your feedback!

We firmly believe that the hotel element of your trip is by far the most important bit. Obviously the flight is important but it’s hardly sexy is it these days? So everything we do is focused on the hotels and trying to make it easy to find the one you want. If you are looking for a holiday on our website we will always ask you to choose your hotel first before we show you the flight options.
We have review and videos to help with your hotel choice. We have also tagged the hotels that are our bestsellers and through our “staff pick” tag we show you which hotels we believe will be right for you.
We also know that it’s important to offer you financial protection on everything you book with us. So we have ticked that box by being members of the Travel Trust Association (TTA) which gives you full protection.
History
The Youtravel Group was launched in October 2006 by travel entrepreneur John Kent, largely regarded as the pioneer of the accommodation-only sector after he set up Medhotels.com in 2002. The Youtravel Group is one of the key players in the accommodation-only sector. It is a truly international company and has operations in the UK, Germany, Greece, Italy, Sweden, Ireland, Norway and France.
In June 2010 we acquired a new shareholder, His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Saeed Al Nahayan, who purchased the shares in the business previously owned by Barclays Capital.
This has ensured that the group is funded appropriately as it moves into its fifth full-year as one of the UK’s leading travel companies.
Products
Youtravel.com features more than 3,000 resort hotels in popular destinations throughout Europe – including the Balearic Islands, the Canaries, mainland Spain, Italy, Croatia, Greece, Malta, Turkey, Cyprus – as well as in Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Florida, Dubai and the Caribbean. These hotels agreements are directly contracted and managed by the Youtravel team.
In addition we have relationships with other hotel providers who give us access to over 37,000 different hotels across the world. This means we are able to offer great deals to all the major city destinations around the world and fantastic long haul product to compliment this. So whether you are looking for a short city break, a week in the sun or a long-haul holiday we have everything you need.

There have been a number of high profile failures of travel companies over the last few years. For your peace of mind, Youtravel.com is a member of the Travel Trust Association (TTA). This means we maintain the highest of standards and your TTA holiday is financially protected against failure.
