Costa Calma

Costa Calma, which funnily enough is the “calm coast” in Spanish, is located on the edge of the national park area of Jandia. Costa Calma is a community which brought tourism in the 1970s and created famous hotels. It also brought in restaurants as well as businesses which brought economic development to the vicinity of Costa Calma.

It is a favourite place for honeymooners and its highlight is the long sandy beach of Playa Barca which consists of fine sand backed by low mountains and dunes. It is an ideal place for windsurfers who are particularly fond of this beach because of the strong off shore winds during the summer months. So finding your perfect holiday here should be a breeze!
