Forget Paris, Rome and Venice, when it comes to laying claim to being the home “Love” in the Med, step forward Paphos, birthplace of Aphrodite the goddess of love herself.
Smack bang on Cyprus’ south-west coast, Paphos ticks all the boxes for a cracking holiday: top weather and golden beaches are a given, but chuck in some pretty impressive archeological sites, a rather quaint harbour, top restaurants, plenty of bars and waterfront cafes perfect for people watching, fantastic shopping (much more than your usual tourist tact) and you’ll soon be drawn in.
