Side is a popular family resort situated at the south western coast of Turkey, 63 km away from Antalya and the airport, in the Turkish Riviera. It is a pretty resort, situated on a peninsula between two stretches of golden beach that combines perfectly the old and new, with an extensive range of tourist accommodation, shops, night clubs and restaurants mixed in among the ruins of the ancient city. The highlight is the magnificent 2nd-century theatre with beautiful views towards the sea, as well as the remains of the Roman Baths houses.
